The four 18V50SG Gas Engines destined for the 72 MW Termoli Metaenergia plant under construction by Fata arrived by sea.
An operation performed with care and foresight, organized and implemented in record time by FATA and by the carrier SIMI. In fact, the engines should have been transferred directly to the industrial area of Termoli, exclusively by road transport.
Due to unforeseen extraordinary maintenance activities on the road network, the transfer by sea from Vasto to Termoli made it possible to resolve the blockage which would certainly have affected the time for the plant to enter into operation.
The gas engines, weighing over 200 tons each, will reach their final destination from the port traveling on 12-axle trolleys.
