PURPOSE OF PROCESSING LEGAL BASIS OF PROCESSING CONFERIMENTO DEI DATI DATA RETENTION PERIOD
1) Sending of communications (through automated and traditional contact methods) in relation to the activities and initiatives implemented by the Company (such as: newsletter about the activities carried out by the Company “Danieli News Flash”). The contact data are processed on the basis of the express consent of the data subject. The consent to the processing of data is free, but failure to provide it will make it impossible to receive the newsletter. At any time you can revoke the consent (without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing before revocation) by sending a simple email to dataprotection@danieli.com. The collected data will be retained until you revoke your consent. After the revocation, your data will be destroyed or anonymized in accordance with the technical and back-up procedures of cancellation.
2) Sending of promotional and commercial communications (through automated and traditional contact methods) related to services/goods offered by the Company or related to company events and market studies/statistical analysis (Magazine “DaNews”). The contact data are processed on the basis of the express consent of the data subject. The consent to the processing of data is free, but failure to provide it will make it impossible to receive the magazine DaNews. At any time you can revoke the consent (without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing before revocation) by sending a simple email to dataprotection@danieli.com. The collected data will be retained until you revoke your consent. After the revocation, your data will be destroyed or anonymized in accordance with the technical and back-up procedures of cancellation.
3) Responding to your contact request through the option “Contact Us”. Execution of pre-contractual measures. Voluntary by applicant/user. Volontario da parte del richiedente. The collected data will be stored for the time strictly necessary to respond to the request. In case of commercial communication, the data will be stored for a maximum of 10 years from the date of receipt (Article 2220 of the Italian Civil Code).

At the end of the retention period mentioned above, the data will be destroyed, cancelled or made anonymous.

 

OBLIGATORY OF DATA PROVIDING
Except for navigation data (the processing of which is necessary to ensure the navigation services), the user is free to provide personal data to access the services offered by this website. b) companies that provide assistance in preparing market studies and statistical analysis.

The data can be processed by employees of the company departments tasked with pursuing the above-mentioned aims, who have been explicitly authorized to handle the data and who have received the necessary operating instructions.

DATA TRANSFER TO EXTRA EU COUNTRIES
Some of your personal data could be transferred to recipients that could be outside of the European Economic Area. The Company ensures that processing of such data is compliant with applicable legislation. Indeed, transfers are based either on an adequacy decision or on the Standard Model Clauses approved by the European Commission.

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT – COMPLAINTS TO THE SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY
By contacting the Legal Department at dataprotection@danieli.com, data subjects may ask the data controller for permission to access or cancel their data, correct erroneous data, add to incomplete data, and limit processing in the cases specified in art. 18 GDPR, as well as objecting to the handling in the case of legitimate interest of the data controller. Moreover, in cases where data processing is based on consent or on a contract and is done using automated tools, the data subjects are entitled to receive the data in a commonly used structured format that is readable on automatic devices, as well as, if technically feasible, to transfer them to another data controller without impediment. It is understood that the data subjects who for the above-mentioned purposes prefer to be contacted via traditional means, may express their objection only upon receiving notifications via automated means. The data subjects have the right to revoke at any time their consent given for marketing and/or profiling purposes, and to object to data processing for marketing purposes, including profiling connected to direct marketing. The data subjects have the right to submit a complaint to the Supervisory Authority with jurisdiction in the member state in which they normally reside or work, or in the member state where the alleged violation occurred.
